Joshua is a longevity fanatic with a passion for awakening the world into living healthier, more sustainable lives. Joshua’s journey began in his backyard where he built a health and wellness community called Tribe of Phoenix after attending a men’s spiritual retreat. This community grew into a greater vision for a place that did not yet exist: a Gym + Recovery Center in one, AND at an affordable rate. Joshua is currently a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and Certified Nutrition Coach (CNC) through National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). In addition, Joshua has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management (BSBM) and has extensive experience navigating teams and tasks as a Project Manager Professional (PMP). Through his mission to serve and purpose-driven, business-oriented mindset, Joshua decided to combine all of his trades and expand his community, thus creating a place like no other: Wholeistic Fitness.
Jaid is a free-spirited, adventurous, health professional, driven by our bodies’ and minds’ abilities to heal, through both physical and spiritual means. Jaid completed her education at the University of Missouri (MU) where she earned a Bachelor of Health Science (BHS) in Health & Wellness and a Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT), expanding her ability to rehabilitate clients as a licensed and registered therapist (OTR/L). Jaid most recently completed her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training in Bali, to combine Eastern + Western approaches with current clients to better understand the anatomy of common physical complications, and offer naturopathic applications that can be used for daily healing. Jaid’s passion for holistic healing continues to grow, as she states that she will be a forever student, always expanding her knowledge base. Jaid has plans to combine occupational and yoga therapy with an array of healing modalities, allowing for a more expansive experience for clients.
Erik is a compassionate, energetic and curious soul whose goal in life is to help others live their highest purpose and be happy in their bodies again, through physical, mental and spiritual transformation. Erik started his movement journey with wrestling, martial arts and then bodybuilding, with goals to “get big”, which led to ego-lifting his way into a back-injury that forced him to look outside of traditional methods. Erik moved to AZ where he became a coach in Bodyweight Mechanics & Steel Mace (TACFIT). He then furthered his knowledge through additional certifications in personal training (NSA), Steel Mace, Clubbells, Kettlebells, and became a Movement Specialist (Rehab-U). Erik also added somatic and functional breathwork and assisted stretch therapy to his arsenal. Today Erik is injury free, eliminating his previous asthma problems through breathwork and diet. Erik’s preference is to approach fitness “Wholeistically” (see what I did there?) by cultivating balanced nervous systems, healthy thought patterns, functional movements and a supportive community.
